3rd Annual Government and Disability Summit

The County of Ventura is hosting their 3rd Annual Government and Disability Summit, focusing on amplifying statewide dedication to advancing mobility access through collaboration, lived and professional experiences, and innovative thinking. 

This year’s event “Access that Moves Us” will focus on healthcare, transportation, and emergency preparedness along with much more. The goal is to address barriers to essential services shaping independent living and access forward communities.

40th Annual Life Supported Conference

Join the Supported Life Institute at their 40th Annual Supported Life Conference: “Strengthening Supports in an Evolving Environment” at the Wyndham Sacramento Hotel October 8-9, 2026. This exciting event is focused on empowering all people with disabilities to be fully included in the community, and will cover topics from communication, staff development,  and supported/independent living.

CALACT Fall Conference

The California Association of Coordinated Transportation (CALACT) is hosting their Fall 2026 Conference & Expo at the Hyatt Regency in Sonoma, November 3-5, 2026. Mobility Transformed Conference

2nd Annual Government and Disability Summit (Completed)

Hosted by the County of Ventura this is a groundbreaking event focused on exploring innovative solutions, amplifying collaboration, and creating programmatic and attitudinal light bulbs toward a more accessible and empowered future for all! This year’s event “Collaborate, Innovate, Activate: Disability Across the Lifespan”” will focus on youth, aging, and everything in between. The goal is to address barriers to access by learning from best practices, challenges, and experiences from across the state.

SAFA Prospective Access Provider Webinar (Completed)

Join us for an informational webinar for prospective Access Providers interested in applying for grant funding through the SAFA Access for All Program. This session will take place shortly after the release of the Request for Proposals (RFP) and will provide an overview of the program, funding availability, eligibility requirements, and how to navigate the application process on the SAFA APP platform. During the webinar, we will walk through the RFP, highlight key deadlines, and share tips for submitting a complete and competitive application. CALACT Spring Conference

The California Association of Coordinated Transportation (CALACT) is hosting their Spring 2026 Conference & Expo at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula, April 13-16, 2026. The California Public Utilities Commission will be presenting “Outside the Box Funding Part I-PUC Access for All” on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. You won’t want to miss this presentation on the Access for All Program and how well-planned Alternative Transportation Systems can meet service quality demands and reduce pressure on the ADA Systems.
